This quarantine makes me revisit the things I used to love, coz why not? I’m reading PoA at the moment. My ultimate favorite. The narrative of the book is super intense. There are actions and suspense at every turn, surprisingly without ended up in any deaths. The only book that leaves everyone fairytale-ish happy tbh. The same goes for the movie. We were so lucky to have Alfonso Cuarón at the helm. He and his witty but genius way of storytelling courageously changed most of the dialogue from the book into a more emotionally satisfying screenplay. For the first time ever the movie complements the book in the sense that we don’t have to worry about everything from the book. Also, Sirius Black, one of the greatest characters of all time. Could you imagine 14 yo me getting ecstatic over the fact that Gary Oldman played him? ♥
